  2. Open your phone's Files or Downloads app.
  3. Find the file (it ends in .sbk).

Common Questions

Why does it end in .sbk and not .html?

SmartBooks uses the .sbk format to identify Smart Books. It's actually a self-contained web page — your browser can open it just like a website, but everything works offline.

Does my child need the internet to read?

No. Once the file is downloaded and opened once, it works completely offline. Perfect for areas with limited data.

Can I send it on WhatsApp?

Yes! Send the .sbk file as an attachment. The recipient taps it and selects their browser to open it.

Can my child skip chapters?

No — that's the point. SmartBooks requires your child to interact with each chapter's questions before moving forward. They must read and respond, not just tap through.
